You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
By law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services to be rendered.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical session or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a session.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.

We will start with scheduling a free 15-minute phone consultation to connect and see if we are a good fit.
From there we will go ahead and schedule our intake session. This is where we will discuss and gather some information about you, process what you are looking to work on in therapy, and together establish a plan and goals for treatment.

Prior to our scheduled intake, you will receive a welcome packet detailing where to locate and how to use your secure patient portal. In this portal there will be forms for you to complete before we meet.
Also located in this portal is where we will meet for our virtual sessions.
To ensure privacy while attending sessions, I recommend finding a quite and private location. Using headphones and a sound machine is also useful if you share space with others.
